Hello and welcome to my page. My name is Sarah, I'm 16 and live in Colorado. I've been a vampire since my birth on 5-30-83. But it was a long time before I realized what I was. A good friend of mine who is a Vampyre told me that because of everything I had gone through and because of the visions I've had since I was a child that there was more to me then what I suspected. I had asked him to sire me but he told me that I didn't need to be sired. I was already kindred. So I looked for answers. I tried to find out where my vampire blood had come from, but no clues were there. When I was a child I saw things no one else could. I didn't fully understand it but I enjoyed it none the less. I ran with dragons, talked to spirits and demons. I was always close to death, more so then life. I saw The Grim Reaper for the first time when I was about 5 years old but he always seemed to just watch me until I began to grow older. When I was 11 I finally got to speak to him. He came to me one night when I was in my dark basement room. And ever since then we have become kind of like friends you could say. I know all of you mortals think this is fiction but I'll warn you there is more out there then what you think. There is a real world that only some very special people can see. It's like a third sight. A gift from beyond. Some are blessed with the vampire blood, others howl at the moon. But we are all conected to one another. The Nights Children! I Guard The Dead I am the crow and I guard the dead I am the last thing you see at night I am the black angel sent by the Lord to watch his lonely children I guide you to your resting place I free your spirit and hand you to the white angels� Or to the feared demons below As the moon appears at night it lights up my kingdom I sit proudly upon your tombstone and scare off the others who do not belong here with you and me Some living spirits come and I watch them from the shadows as they lay flowers on your grave I am the guardian of these souls Some of you fight while others sleep I know you souls that fight have no place to speak of yet So I shall comfort you�holding you in my wings death You will find your place some day amongst the heavens or hells And when my work is complete I�ll leave this place and find more dead to guard For I am� The Guardian of the Dead +~Sarah~+ One of my older poems but I think it's ok. Perhaps you see me as a curse and maybe you believe who I am is all just a mislead kid on her way to a rubber room. In the eyes of society I am nothing more then a plague that gets harder to find a cure for every day. But you know what? Instinct, the will to survive will always prevail. And you can't hide from that truth. Your civilization you put so much pride in will fall in the fire of Anarchy. You want to know why? Becuase you cannot keep the human spirit tied up forever. We are animals and in time we will learn to become one with the earth again. Now I know in the eyes of "civilized" people I am insane. But then to me those so called "civilized" people are stuck in a money making dream world. Now I have come to except if what I am is a sin in the eyes of who ever the true God/Godess is then I do not regret it. I was born this creature, I was given this gift. And if there is a penalty for being created this creature then I will gladly take it. I did not choose this life, but now I know I can not leave it nor do I want to. And all I wish to say to you closed minded folks is what if your god is not the real one and what if what you are doing is a sin? Do you still not regret your actions?
